Wicked Waning
We were getting in the car to come to my in-laws’ tonight
and Lane says to me that I have to come see right now. And he was
right; it lasted about a minute. But it is one of the more
beautiful sunsets ever. Kristian had three friends on Facebook post
photos of their own within minutes of our own photo being taken.

Crazy Cribs!
Emma was entertaining herself after I changed her diaper last night, and it was cute. I just missed her grabbing her sweat pants between videos. Oh well. They were uploaded in hi-def, so mobile devices may be unable to play them, but otherwise enjoy!

Fussy for Family Funeral
We had a funeral yesterday for my father-in-law’s adoptive father. Not a lot of tears for the man, but Emma had a rough day. She did not like the mess up to her routine. Started by taking maw-maw to the Dr., and ended with a family dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger after the funeral. But she was beautiful. Even though she pooed down the front of me. Again. I love her!
The Gift the Stork Brought
It took an update to wordpress, but I can finally post these photos that our friend Tara tool a few days ago. They are beautiful. For you photographers, she makes the stork net for sale, so let us know if you’d care to purchase one from her. Anyway, these photos are the result of a nap, a feeding, and many Emma tears. But they are SO beautiful!
Emma Playing
Emma awoke cheerful, and has been fun to play with. When I had to pee, I set her in the bassinet. When I returned, she was trying to play with the dangly toys. It was adorable!
Lane and Baby Sister
Lane has fallen in love with Emma. And she couldn’t ask for a better brother. For example, we had FHE at the Richardsons’ (my in-laws) last night, and Kathy gave a lesson on gifts of the holy spirit. When asked to name a gift that God had given Lane, Lane responded with Emma. Not the kind of gift Kathy was looking for, but sincere and heartfelt. He loves his time with Emma. And she loves him, elsewise how could she so easily fall asleep?
